We bring people together for a shared human experience that only our orchestra and our audiences can create together. The ESO is one of Canada's foremost orchestral ensembles. Our performance home is the Winspear Centre, one of North America's finest concert halls.

As we celebrate today, we're revisiting a performance that has become a favourite with audiences near and far.
Originally commissioned by your ESO in 2004 to mark the installation of the Davis Concert Organ, this special arrangement of O Canada was composed by our friend and former Composer-in-Residence, Allan Gilliland.
Allan shared, "I composed a flexible arrangement that was specifically written for the ESO and its many shapes and sizes."
More than 20 years later, it remains our most-viewed video on YouTube and, judging by your comments, one of your favourites too.
