This is my first puukko, kinda ugly but whatever it’s my first one. The curly spalted maple is from Nova Scotia which has a special place in my heart. Tried the zero edge which is pretty cool, nice and sharp but not as tough. Not a problem for a little guy like this though.
Cool hamon action. Not sure why each side was so different the clay was almost identical.
One of my favourite parts. Ebony and Claro Walnut burl.
