Edmonton’s Telus Field could attract a professional baseball team, according to a city report, but there are some strikes against the facility.
City councillors asked administration to look into the future of baseball last year after a separate report suggested tearing down the stadium.
In a report going to council next week, the city asked league officials and team owners in a variety of minor leagues who all said Edmonton could host professional ball.
