NAIT Culinary Team
Student members prepare for competition through extracurricular training. They learn to refine the skills they are taught in class and how to work in a team environment. Team members are also expected to participate in fundraising for trips. Fundraising activities include:
researching new recipes for organizations
setting up product demonstrations
hosting gourmet dinners

We’re proud to celebrate Kathy Leskow (Business Administration - Management ’96), a recipient of the 2022 Alumni Award of Excellence!
From her start selling cookies at a local farmers market, Kathy has grown Confetti Sweets into a well-known brand with products sold at more than 250 Alberta retailers, at Costco stores in Japan, and even served at the pre-Oscar party in Los Angeles!
Kathy is a passionate supporter of the NAIT Mawji Centre, believing in the importance of providing opportunities for young entrepreneurs to grow, network and help each other succeed.
