I remember hearing names such as Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles, recognized as ground breakers or brick layers in the scene. I had the privilege of dancing to Frankie Knuckles live on quite a few occasions. This man knew how to ignite and navigate a dance floor. Track after track delivered with perfection, very few Producers and Djs possessed the ability of maintaining a packed dance floor from start to finish of their set. Frankie Knuckles was definitely one of those artists, may he RIP.
