A hot day in Winnipeg and we were lucky to play early in the first game of the 2026 Football Canada Cup. The guys came out firing on all cylinders! QB .martel09 opened the scoring with an untouched run to the right side.

The defence played extremely well and forced Nova Scotia to concede a safety and we were up 9-0 early. DB and Defensive player of the game: made an incredible diving interception, his first of two on the day.

Two plays later RB .24 took the handoff and scampered into the endzone, scoring his first of two rushing TDs. RB and Offensive player of the game had a few big runs in the first half and Alberta's O-line opened up some big lanes for the talented backs.

Rec caught a slant from QB and had an incredible run after the catch, scoring a 56 yard Touchdown! We picked up another FG, making the score 26-0 at the half.

In the second half our special teams blocked a punt by Captain
RB .24 rushed in untouched and then one last FG making the final score 36-0.

The next game is Thursday against the winner of the Manitoba/Quebec game.
