Oluwatoyosi Awotundun is a Registered Nurse in Alberta, Canada, with over seven years of experience across emergency, acute, community, and home care settings. She previously served as a Senior Nursing Officer in a high-acuity emergency department in Nigeria, where she developed strong leadership, rapid assessment, and critical decision-making skills in fast-paced clinical environments. She currently practices in home care while continuing to build her expertise in acute and emergency care.
She holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree with Second Class Upper honours and is also a Registered Midwife and Registered Public Health Nurse in Nigeria. Passionate about evidence-based practice, patient safety, and compassionate care, Oluwatoyosi is particularly interested in advancing maternal and child health outcomes and contributing to healthcare leadership. Known for her calm demeanor, warmth, and drive for continuous growth, she is committed to making meaningful impacts in the lives of vulnerable patients while growing as a nurse leader.
