The reality is, doctors know about diagnosis and medicating. Period.

3 Messages You Don’t Want to Ignore from Abdominal Bloating:
I was bloated 24/7 from age 17-25.
It took quite a few “signals” in the form of joint pain, anxiety, and weight gain for me to finally get the message.
When you listen early symptoms like bloating, disease can be prevented.
What bloating is saying:
1. You do not feel safe.
Something about your environment is causing the neurons in your gut to perceive a threat. This is a time for down regulating (deep breathing, address emotions, quiet time, self reflection)
2. Something you’re eating is causing GI inflammation.
The gut cannot absorb nutrients if your diet has emulsifiers, sugar, processed seed oils, pesticides and hormones. Eat smaller, less frequent meals and stick to meat, fruit and veggies to lower inflammation.
3. You’re overdoing it.
High Intensity Exercise, food, and mental exertion all cause an inflammatory response from the body. When you aren’t resting, you can’t resolve inflammation. Bloating is a sign to do less and embrace rest.
Instead of feeling shame about bloating, see it as a permission slip from your body to rest and reflect.
