🌿 New Blog Post Is Live! 🌿
We're excited to share that our latest blog where Dr. Melanie Robinson, ND, dives into the powerful connection between stress and digestive health — and why so many gut symptoms worsen during overwhelming seasons of life.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Melanie sees every day how deeply the brain and digestive system are connected. From reflux and bloating to IBS, GERD, and IBD flare-ups, stress plays a much bigger role than many people realize.
In this article, she breaks down:
• How the “fight or flight” response impacts digestion
• The science behind the brain-gut axis
• Why chronic stress can worsen digestive disorders
• Practical ways to support your nervous system and gut
• Why identifying the root cause matters
She also shares the analogy she often uses in practice — your digestive system is like the roots of a tree. When the roots are supported, the whole body can thrive. 🌳
If you’ve been struggling with digestive symptoms or feeling frustrated with your gut, this article is for you.
Head to the link in my bio to read it, and let us know your biggest takeaway.

Did you know...
After a gestational diabetes (GDM) diagnosis, Diabetes Canada recommends breast/chest feeding for a minimum of 4 months to reduce the risk of neonatal hypoglycemia, childhood obesity, and diabetes in the child.
But this month is about the Mamas!!
Did you know that breast/ chest feeding in people diagnosed with GDM is helpful for them too!
Ziegler's group found that nursing after a GDM diagnosis reduced the median time to a type 2 diabetes diagnosis from 2.3 to 12.3 years!
Please note:
Breast/ chest feeding is not always possible and it is rarely easy. This post is meant for information purposes only and is not intended any way to shame those who choose not to or cannot breast/ chest feed.
