Packing can be stressful! 🤒

Here are some packing tips from your local moving professional

1. Start early! Don't leave packing until the last minute. Begin packing as soon as possible, as you may be working at the same time. It will help you stay ahead and stress-free.

2. Declutter as you pack: Use this as an opportunity to get rid of things you no longer need. Donate or sell items that you haven't used in a while. Use Facebook Marketplace or even on kijiji. Someone will buy it from you 😉

3. Label everything: Label each box with the contents and which room it belongs to. This will help you and your movers know where to put everything when unloading.

4. Be strategic: Pack heavier items in smaller boxes and lighter items in larger boxes. This will help prevent boxes or your belongings from breaking and make them easier to handle.

5. Protect fragile items: Use bubble wrap, packing paper or blankets to wrap fragile items to prevent damage during transport.

6. Pack essentials separately: Pack a separate box with essentials like toiletries, a change of clothes, and important documents, so you have easy access to them on move-in day.
