To celebrate 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑, News Media Canada has published a limited-edition book, 𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠, featuring 24 inspirational stories from the Canadian news media industry, with custom illustrations by Rachel Joanis.

Coleen was 20 years old when she started working at the Taber Times in Alberta. She did not realize that she would fall in love with community newspapers and that this would be the start of a four-decades-long career in Alberta newspapers.
