These images are meant to be a reminder of how precious our wildlife is, and that these animals and our environment need to be protected for the health of the planet, and for our future generations to enjoy.

There is something indescribable about standing quietly in the forest and sharing a moment with one of these owls. Perhaps awe is the closest description, or a sense of being connected to something far greater than ourselves. Nature is not separate from us—we are a part of it, just as it is a part of us. For experiences like this, I am deeply grateful. Great Grey Owl.
