Cool! A FREE outdoor interactive theatre is coming to us next week.

▶︎ Beside the Ken Newman Park playground

"Theatre Prospero is an Edmonton-based educational performing arts company that offers opportunities for young people throughout the year.

Children of all ages are invited to join in on the adventure and participate in these interactive, family-friendly performances. Anyone can be a star and join in on the fun (complete with costumes and props) with the actors guiding audience members in key roles! Plus, it’s all completely free!"

The Doomed Prince is based on an Egyptian myth about a prince that is fated to die by snake, dog, or crocodile. The Exiles is an adaptation of the Hindu myth Ramayana, full of exiled princes, trickster monkeys, and true love. Both shows have professional narrators and all the parts are played by the community members at the park!" - Theatre Prospero
