Over the past few months, we’ve been sharing moments from the Jaffer Group’s 20-year journey — milestones, projects, and stories that helped shape who we are today.

Looking back, what stands out most isn’t just the buildings, businesses, or milestones. It’s the people behind them. The colleagues who brought ideas to life, the partners who believed in our vision, and the communities that welcomed us along the way.

From our earliest projects in Alberta to ventures across industries and borders, every chapter has been guided by a shared belief in thinking boldly, building with purpose, and accelerating growth together.

In 2024, the Jaffer Group came full circle with a return to Jasper Avenue, moving into the Jaffer Building and reestablishing its presence in the heart of downtown Edmonton. More than a relocation, it was a homecoming — a meaningful step back to the city core that shaped the Group’s early journey.

For Consentia , the move marked a pivotal moment in its evolution as a leader in digital transformation. A company built on making information accessible, secure, and future-ready found its new home in a space designed to foster collaboration and innovation. Within the Jaffer Building, data specialists, project managers, and client teams now work side by side, developing next-generation solutions in document digitization, AI-driven data extraction, and secure information management.

The return to downtown also reinforced something deeper: a continued commitment to Edmonton’s business community. Positioned close to government partners, corporate clients, and community organizations, the new headquarters strengthens connections, accessibility, and shared progress.

At the same time, the move symbolized the power of integration within the Jaffer Group. Bringing its constellation of companies together under one roof created new opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration, linking technology, staffing, construction, hospitality, and real estate expertise in meaningful ways.
Today, the Jaffer Building stands as more than an address. It represents alignment with the pulse of the city, renewed energy, and the next chapter of a legacy rooted in partnership, innovation, and purpose.

In 2022, the Jaffer Group completed Valley Pointe at Holyrood, adding a thoughtfully designed residential community to Edmonton’s River Valley district. More than the completion of a four-storey apartment building, the project represented the strength of the Jaffer Group’s integrated approach to development.

From concept to construction and ongoing management, Valley Pointe brought multiple divisions together with a shared vision. Built by and managed by Jaffer Properties, the project demonstrated how collaboration across in-house teams can create seamless ex*****on and long-term value. Every stage reflected careful planning, quality craftsmanship, and a commitment to delivering housing that feels both modern and enduring.

Nestled between Holyrood, Strathearn, and Bonnie Doon, Valley Pointe was designed to offer residents more than just convenience. With contemporary suites, access to parks and amenities, and proximity to the Valley Line LRT connections, the building balances connectivity with the quiet character of a mature neighbourhood.

Completed during a period of strong demand for quality rental housing, the property quickly reached full occupancy, affirming the team’s focus on thoughtful design and dependable management.

In 2018, the Jaffer Group continued its U.S. growth journey with a purposeful expansion into the Pacific Northwest, acquiring the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Kent, Washington. The property marked an important step in building a hospitality portfolio rooted in long-term value and thoughtful reinvestment.

Originally built in 1990, the hotel’s spacious suites and residential feel provided a strong foundation for renewal. Led by Jaffer Consulting (USA), the Group’s American construction arm, the property underwent a comprehensive modernization, including infrastructure upgrades, enhanced connectivity, and refreshed guest suites. Each update balanced modern performance with the welcoming comfort that defines the Hawthorn Suites experience.

Looking back, the project reflects the Jaffer Group’s integrated approach in action — aligning construction expertise with hospitality operations to deliver enduring value. It also reinforced the Group’s growing presence in the United States, demonstrating how purposeful investment and careful ex*****on can create lasting impact across markets.

In 2016, the Jaffer Group expanded its presence in Stony Plain with the acquisition of land within the Genesis on the Lakes subdivision. The vision was clear to develop a boutique residential community that balanced modern living with long-term value while contributing meaningfully to the surrounding neighbourhood.

Over the years that followed, that vision took shape as Genesis Court, a thoughtfully planned community of 25 duplex homes designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s homeowners. From re-zoning and site servicing to full construction, the project advanced through each stage with intention, coordination, and a focus on delivering a complete and cohesive residential offering.

Designed to appeal to both first-time homebuyers and those looking to downsize, the homes at Genesis Court feature practical, well-considered layouts. Front-attached double garages, three-bedroom floor plans, and open-concept living spaces support everyday comfort, functionality, and ease of living. The result is a community that feels approachable, efficient, and well integrated into the broader Genesis on the Lakes area.

Genesis Court also reflects the collaborative effort behind every successful development. The project was brought to life with the support of planning partners, consultants, and trades, alongside Bilt by Jaffer, who led construction through to completion. Together, these efforts transformed raw land into a finished community that residents could confidently call home.

Today, Genesis Court stands complete as a chapter in the Jaffer Group’s ongoing story of strategic property acquisition and purposeful development. It remains a lasting example of how thoughtful planning and ex*****on can create enduring value for both residents and the Stony Plain community.
