Community has always been at the core of what we do. And when anyone in our community has their rights threatened, everyone needs to step up.

This is a defining moment for Alberta. Not just for teachers and workers, but for students, parents, friends, neighbours - all of us. The UCP’s use of the Notwithstanding Clause to ignore Charter rights to force teachers back to work does not protect us; it sets a dangerous and significant precedent for the future of our freedom in this province. Make no mistake: they will not stop here. Public education is the backbone of democracy, and if they get away with silencing our teachers, they can - and will - do it to any of us.

Get Cooking proudly and passionately stands with Alberta’s teachers. We cannot sit silently while rights are rewritten before our eyes, and we hope you won’t either. So help us make some noise.
