This was one of my very first welding projects from back in high school. It's supposed to look like a log embedded with an axe. I was not the most experienced welder at the time (several weeks of experience by this point in my life), but I had a lot of fun making my axe way bigger and sharper than it needed to or was supposed to be. This sparked an interest in metalworking as an art form. My shop teacher in high school gave me several fun special projects throughout the year because he saw I had an artistic eye
