The winning tea combo for me this fall🍂
1 ginger tea bag
1 cinnamon stick
1 spoon of local honey - the accountant / beekeeper across the hall is where I get mine!

I drink one cup a day.

Ginger is fantastic for helping the spleen transform dampness accumulated from the diet that is also related to having sinus congestion and a phlegmy cough.

Cinnamon is another warming herb that I’ve noticed has help me combat the windy days we’ve been having. Gives my immune system an extra boost and keeps the body’s defences (Wei Qi) up.

Honey nourishes yin and moistens fluids to combat dryness in the body.

Try it for yourself if you’re interested! Super easy to make as well!

Happy Friday!

Acupuncture is never talked about as a health care service. I also don’t feel the need to justify the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine by explaining how the medicine works by using western medicine terms. Even though I thought I once needed to for people to give it a chance.

It is often difficult for people to know when to seek acupuncture care. Traditional Chinese Medicine includes: acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, and lifestyle. In addition, TCM is a trauma informed medicine that is useful in the treatment of mental and emotional health. There is a wealth of information to draw from this medicine to support everyone physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually in their day-to-day lives.

Special mention to .way .fawn for being the inspiration behind this statement.
