We are thrilled to announce the merger of two well established sport treatment and training teams!

River Valley Health has joined ATHX Performance to strengthen our client services RVH was founded in 2002 as a clinical location with an innovative approach to Chiropractic and sport injury management. For the next 13 years, RVH grew and evolved into not just a clinic but a true high performance training facility, one of a kind in Edmonton, rapidly outgrowing its space in the college plaza tower. ATHX Performance was born in 2015 as the evolution of RVH, and the two sister companies ran simultaneously for 5 years.

Now, after sharing a facility for the last year, it has become apparent how much stronger the companies are together. Client feedback has been overwhelmingly positive - from increased and enhanced rehabilitation and recovery services, more integration of clinical services, ease of access from the Henday and Whitemud, to free parking and a private building - the list goes on.

We invite you to give us a follow on IG and take a virtual tour of our new home! We are also offering complimentary AX Assessments for valued RVH clients. An AX Assessment consists of a series of mobility and mechanical tests that reveal your unique movement patterns. So make sure to give us a follow on our account and you will find the link to get booked in for an AX Assessment or any type of treatment in our ATHX bio.

One year since we were last backstage with our beloved Alberta Ballet dancers. We can’t wait for their return! ❤️

365 days...

On this day one year ago Alberta Ballet performed for what we didn't know would be the last time on the Jubilee stage as a whole company before the pandemic halted everything. We can't believe a full 365 days have passed since our dancers and audience members have been able to come together in our auditoriums to share the experience of a full scale production.

We are so grateful to have found new and innovative ways to continue to share the art of ballet with our community despite the limitations. Our digital dance films, and 'On Stage' Performance Series last fall allowed us to explore new methods of collaboration and distribution that we hope to expand upon in the future, but we are also eagerly awaiting the time when we can bring back live performances to our Alberta theatres!

If this year has taught us anything, it is that Alberta Ballet and its dancers are incredibly resilient, and we look forward to the coming months with optimism and renewed determination. With the support of our wonderful community, the arts will survive.
