Lab #1 (11:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
Building Your Show Package
Led by: Lauren Brady

Ready to take your theatre project beyond a single performance? This practical workshop will guide artists through the essentials of creating a professional show package that can help your work tour, get programmed, and attract presenters, festivals, and collaborators. Whether you’re preparing for the Edmonton Fringe, Nextfest, or pitching future productions, you’ll learn how to present your show clearly and professionally so it has a stronger life beyond its premiere.

Lab #2 (1:30 PM – 3:00 PM)
Take Your Show On The International Circuit
Led by: Lauren Brady

Dreaming of touring your work internationally? This workshop is designed for independent theatre and comedy artists who want to take their shows beyond their local scene and into major international festivals. With a focus on events like the Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe, and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, participants will learn the realities of international touring, festival applications, and how to strategically position their work for success abroad.

Cycle hits the festival!🚲

We’re wishing the Cycle team an incredible opening at Expanse 2026!

Created and performed by Andrew Ritchie, this high-energy, immersive performance puts audiences right in the middle of the action, exploring the rush, risk, and reality of life inside Canada’s cycling and gig-work culture.

Drawing from Ritchie’s own experience as a bike courier, Cycle turns movement, storytelling, and audience participation into a powerful look at the precarity and adrenaline of making a living on two wheels.

Strap in, start pedalling, and enjoy the ride. 🚲✨

🪩 Why stop at the curtain call?!🪩

Join us on March 27 for a full night of movement, music, and community!

Start the evening at Expanse Festival with Ultra Violets, a high-energy performance diving deep into q***r club culture, then keep the vibe going long after the show.

After the performance, hop on the shuttle to EVO Nightclub and take the party to the dance floor with a full night of dancing, friends, and festival energy.

One ticket, one night, two dance floors. 💃✨🚌
