STEM Collegiate

For the past two days, we have had the privilege of participating in the Canada-Wide Science Fair at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. It has been an incredible opportunity to connect with students, families, educators, and STEM enthusiasts from across Canada. The event brings together nearly 400 of the country’s top young innovators and researchers, showcasing the future of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
What stood out most was the excitement and curiosity of the students we met. From discussing career pathways and hands-on learning opportunities to sharing what makes STEM Collegiate unique, every conversation reinforced why we do what we do.
At STEM Collegiate, we believe students learn best when they can see how their education connects to their future. Events like the Canada-Wide Science Fair remind us that Canada’s next generation of innovators is already hard at work solving real-world problems and asking big questions.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, shared their ideas, and learned more about our school. We left inspired by the creativity, passion, and potential on display throughout the fair.

We are pleased to share that our Principal, Aaron Chute, will be part of an upcoming panel discussion on Tuesday, April 14:
School: Factory or Garden? How Learning Options Meet Student Needs
This event will explore important questions about the purpose of education, the value of different learning environments, and how educational choice can help meet the needs of students and families across Alberta.
At STEM Collegiate, we know that students thrive in different ways, and we are grateful to be part of a broader conversation about how schools can support growth, opportunity, and meaningful learning.
