I find joy in creating many items; earrings medallions to regalia sets lighter cases My sewing projects include moccasins moss bags ribbon skirts and ribbon shirts blending tradition and innovation I am Madison Clarke, a proud Metis woman residing in Edmonton, Alberta, where I share my life with my husband, three sons, and a daughter who fill my world with love and inspiration. My creative spirit
knows no bounds, and I craft a wide range of items, including earrings in numerous styles, key chains, lighter cases, medallions, necklaces, regalia sets, hats, and more. I've also learned how to sew, specializing in creating Ribbon Skirts, ribbon shirts, and Moss Bags, which i have been doing full time the past six years. I also make custom cabs, allowing others to add a personal touch to their beading projects. For me, the joy lies not only in creating but also in passing on the art to others, teaching them how to bead and sew, and helping them connect with culture through the magic of crafting their own pieces. My biggest inspirations are my children and the beauty of nature, both of which fuel my creativity and fill me with a sense of purpose. Witnessing the delight in my children's eyes as I craft something new is priceless, and bringing happiness to my clients through my work is equally rewarding. For years,I've poured my heart into sewing/beading, making these creative passions a full-time endeavor. Throughout my journey, I learned not only the technical aspects of beading but also the importance of maintaining a positive mindset while creating as our spirit and our feelings go into what we create. . This invaluable lesson, passed down through generations, is something I continue to practice to this day. It's a principle I've passed on to others as well, when teaching beading classes, imparting the idea that a good mindset can make all the difference in crafting and in life.
