Deep River Coaching

It has been such a deep deep joy to be in Israel with Sagi...ta anoog...to stay in Kibbutz Kinneret, where he was born and raised...right on the River Jordan and the Sea of Galilee. Such a special feeling here and a paradise for kids. And to meet his family and friends...all such hearty down to earth people. We have had a full schedule traveling the country...Sagi has a lot of amazing friends and we tried to meet as many as possible. Our hearts and bellies are full...with so much love, the best food ever, lots of music and singing, and a deep deep intimacy growing between us. More photos to come!

The power of Coaching.....Yesterday I received a coaching session from my coaching teacher, David. His quiet presence was a clean mirror for me to talk myself out of it's state of anxiety into deep quietude. I was feeling anxious because there is so much on my To Do list but currently so little physical energy and motivation to take care of it all. As I shared with my Mirror what I was in, I came to see that there are times when our creative and physical energy folds up into dormancy. These times are not a time for pushing or forcing Doingness....it's a time to actively rest and connect with our deeper levels. I saw my creative project as a tiny seed planted in dark fertile soil and that for now all there is To Do is to lay with my ear to the ground and love the seed. It carries all the codes for my Next but I cannot force it's progress. I can commune with the seed and know that in it's own time it will sprout and flower.....and all I have to do is listen as it whispers each step to me as it magically unfolds. These photos are of a tulip I bought last week.....She opened when I brought her home, revealing perfect tiny red hearts. This kind of flowering cannot be pushed by anxiety or the pressure to survive....She is the result of tender quieted presence with everything just the way it is.
