Beyond the Proof

The wonderful thing about reading is that I can simultaneously enjoy multiple things I love. Romance and hockey, for example. I love the game, and I love hockey romances. I’m both excited for and dreading the upcoming NHL playoffs. Mostly because the last couple of years have been an utter heartbreak for my team. Which means, also for me. Hockey romances have their own share of heartbreaks. But also humor, amazing banter, and the element of found family. Helena Hunting's The Toronto Terror series is one of my favourites. This week, I’m catching up on the latest from her gang of wonderful characters.
I had the pleasure of assisting Helena as the line ambassador at the BB4E Vancouver signing event last July, and I’m looking forward to seeing her next month in Banff at the Romance Invades the Canadian Rockies.
