KV Capital arranged construction financing for a new retail strip centre totalling 5,500 sq. ft. on a 1.2-acre parcel of land, located off the Yellowhead Highway in Hinton, AB.

The development entails three commercial retail units and will occupy a variety of tenants, including a complete drive through lane.

This retail strip centre is conveniently located 15 minutes away from the Jasper National Park Gates, and a variety of nearby shopping centres.

Shafin has over thirty years of experience in the finance field and over twenty years of executive management experience. He has previously been on executive teams that were responsible for increasing revenue from $10M to $68M, and net income from $1M to $5.2M, in less than seven years. He has also contributed significantly to creating corporate cultures that have been recognized by the PROFIT 500 Fastest Growing Companies, MacLean Magazine's Top 100 Employers, Deloitte & Touch's 500 Fastest Growing Technology Companies and many more.

Prior to joining KV Capital, Michelle worked at Bennett Jones LLP as a legal assistant for over five years, where she was a valued member of the corporate commercial practice group, with a focus on supporting their mergers & acquisitions and commercial real estate teams. She looks forward to bringing her transactional expertise and focus on the client experience to the KV Capital team. Michelle is an avid animal lover who spends her free time with her husband and four rescue animals.
