Zero Point Cryogenics
As Canada’s sole manufacturer of dilution refrigerators, we produce robust, reliable, and innovative fridges that meet the high expectations of our customers, so they can focus on developing their quantum technologies instead of operating their fridges.

Do you know what total internal reflection is? 🌐
Total internal reflection is a clever trick that keeps the modern internet moving at light speed. Satellites manage the wireless journey through space, while fiber cables drive high-speed, long-distance data transmission across land and sea.
When a beam of light travels through a dense material, such as glass, and hits the outer edge at a shallow angle, it doesn't pass through. Instead, the boundary acts like a mirror, reflecting 100% of the light back inward. This phenomenon allows us to trap light inside ultra-thin fiber-optic cables and transport it across oceans without losing data. This absolute reflection only occurs when light attempts to exit a denser material into a less dense one at an angle greater than a mathematical threshold known as the critical angle.
Every time you stream a video or send a text, you are relying on trapped beams of light reflecting across the globe.

Zero Point Cryogenics at Quantum Korea 2026 🇰🇷
Zero Point Cryogenics (ZPC) is heading to the international stage as our R&D Lead, Dr. Paul Kim, and CFO, David Lang, travel to Seoul for Quantum Korea 2026 with Trade Commissioner Service - Global Affairs Canada. They will connect with global pioneers to showcase how our cryogenic infrastructure is essential to scaling quantum computing. If you are attending the conference, be sure to connect with Paul and David next week to learn how ZPC is anchoring the future of deep tech!
