My photography is very diverse, as are the people I shoot for. I am a people person and really enjoy meeting new clients and working with them to create something special. I have been blessed to be trusted with capturing memories that are important and special to people. I get a great amount of joy out of working with people, their families and loved ones by providing them with something that they

Master of Metal: Jay Donovan's amazing XS650 10/24/2017

I have not used this page in a very long time. It is time to update, or maybe even remove this page, but for now, here is something that I recently shot for a local bike builder.

Master of Metal: Jay Donovan's amazing XS650 Raw metal bodywork, engine upgrades, new suspension and hidden high-tech electronics: this Canadian Yamaha is one of the best XS650s we've seen.

Looking forward to doing more car and motorbike shoots in 2017. Snapped this up at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit while I was doing a food photo shoot for chef Castro Boateng. He was prepping some food, so I took a few moments to admire the sweet cars.

Adam Griffiths took a month off of work to build his dream bike. With the help of some talented people including Rick Trentin who did the paint, this was the result! This old Triumph is pretty sweet!

I absolutely love taking family photos for people! It brings me great joy to be able to capture moments loved ones share with each other. Think about your own family or other loved ones for a minute, think about the quirky things they do that makes you laugh and brings joy to your heart. Think about how special they are to you and how on this entire planet, there is only one of them. Now think about them gone from your life forever because someone was on their phone while driving. That person just had to answer or make that oh so important call. Perhaps that person just had to add one last stupid smiley on the text that they sent while driving down the highway in rush hour traffic. I can't even imagine my life without my wife, my girls, my parents, my sister, or any of my loved ones. Can you?
I have a question for you. Do you use your phone while driving? Could that someone who changes the lives of many people as well as your own be you? Are your calls that important? Pull over if you have to make a call. We all cherish the same things when it comes down to it. Let the idiot on the phone be someone else than you, for it only takes a fraction of a second to ruin the lives of so many. I see it every day during the 70km that I drive, chances are, I have even seen you or someone you know behind the wheel with their phone. I hope that with the raised fines people finally start putting their phones away, although what is a $500 fine compared to the life of a child, a parent, a grandparent, a sibling or friend?
Btw, if you are a family member or friend of mine and I happen to call you while you are driving, please ignore it! Call display will let you know whose call you missed and we can talk later.
Much love to all of you, drive safe.
Jason

Mr Purnell's Triton cafe racer 11/25/2015

It was about two months ago that I got a call from Joel at Wheelies to come and shoot the custom Triton that he built. A few of the photos from that day as well as some information as to what Joel did can be seen here at Bikeexif.
