The Huge Maple Tree across from the Billiards is slated to be cut down soon. People are gathering to stop the destruction of this historical land mark. This is the most beautiful Maple tree i have ever seen. So if you agree, share your thoughts.

Back from vacation and back to business. Nice to have people waiting at the door for me to open. Thanks. Well I have some very very sad news to share, I attended a funeral on the 21st for a well respected not to mention full of honor, dedication, laughter, wisdom, and the love for other people to guide on this journey of life. Hereditary Chief Edward Cyril Livingston, better known as Ed. From The People Of The Lake, (Lake Cowichan Band). It has come as a shock to us all. When he would walk in the door i would say, Mr Livingston I presume and he would answer John my good man how are you today. Damm i'm going to miss hearing that. I put in alot of hours of pool with Ed like his wife Georgina said to me he spent so much time at James st billiards he should be part owner. And she is wright. Table #6 is Ed's table and always will be. Well Today will be the hardest to get through but there is all kinds of support here thanks to all. Please come have some fun soon. Eds laughter will always fill this room. Rest in peace Ed. born sept 3 1949-May17th 2016.
