Sweet old Sammy 🄹

Sam is a very special dog to us, she’s my sister in laws senior pup who we see often and have grown quite close to.
Recently she’s been diagnosed with diabetes and had some big changes to her lifestyle. Over the last few months while grooming her I’ve noticed her hair texture change drastically. Her once soft, fluffy hair was now dry, brittle, and not growing back, I knew something had to be off with her for such a change to occur without her food or actual lifestyle changing.
Once diagnosed everything made sense and I came to the decision that for Sam’s well being for her grooming visits she would need a shorter, more sustainable haircut. Now as a professional I am aware that shaving a double coated dog is the last thing we set out to do but at 15 years old, living on a farm, with her insulin monitor this was the best choice for Sam.
I will always put your pets lifestyle and needs first and notify you of any changes I may see to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible while living their best lives! šŸ¤šŸ¾

Tim turns 3!!

This special little guy came to us in pretty rough shape with matted hair covered in p*e, a nasty ulcer on his eye, and just generally feeling unwell from travelling over. After immediate vet care his personality really started to show. He’s one of the goofiest little dogs we’ve had! Always chatting, smiling, big expressive ears, his tongue is always out because of his overbite, and all the goofy haircuts.
Tim is really one of a kind, we’re so lucky to have him in the family
Happy birthday Timmy, Jim, Tim tam, Jim jam the wim wam wozzle šŸ¤šŸŽ‰

Our trip to Mexico!

Slide 1: Woke up with some gnarly anxiety as I don’t love flying but it was a great flight and I was able to sleep through it
Slide 2: Spends the entire first day super nauseous and unable to keep anything down. The pool helped so spent the day floating around
Slide 3: Gets the worst burn on first day from said pool day
Slide 4: Heat exhaustion on top of already being so sick. Can’t even keep water down at this point
Slide 5: Tried to cheer myself up with a nice shell hunting trip to the beach. Found a rad turtle skull?
Slide 6: Fruit was our best friend. One of the only things we could eat
Slide 7: Woke up feeling really good this day! We went to an awesome beach for some snorkelling and saw such cool fish, ate good food. I did end up buying sun shirtsšŸ˜‚
Slide 8: Going 120km, no seat belts, nauseous, bumping tunes was a good time
Slide 9: Ethan’s favourite dish at a nice Austrian restaurant
Slide 10: Ethan’s favourite dish from said nice Austrian restaurant makes a come back and gives him food poisoning šŸ˜‚šŸ˜
Slide 11: Spends the last couple days we have left violently ill, unable to leave the room. By the end of it we were able to keep down instant ramen noodles and that felt like a win.
All in all we’ve had better vacations but we survived…mostly šŸ˜‚
