The airspace around wildfires is closed to all aircraft, including drones. This is so that firefighting aircraft can do their jobs.

Flying a drone near a wildfire creates a serious risk of collision with emergency response teams.

You must keep your drone a minimum distance of 9.3 km (5 nautical miles) away from any wildfire.
