Great week for Team Sperabo at Thunderbird 2025 April Season Opener!

Costa De Will Z and Nicola were crowned Champion in the Devoucoux Adult Amateur Hunter 3’0” and secured Reserve Champion in Adult Amateur Equitations! Additionally, Laura and Costa De Will Z achieved two first place finishes in the 2’0” Open Hunters!

BP Mystic and Justine excelled with a first place win in the $2,500 1.20M Open Jumper Classic, along with a first in the $500 1.20M Open Jumper and a first in the 1.15M Open Jumpers this week.

Blue Bellini and Justine claimed Reserve Champion in the .75M Open Jumpers and earned a first place in the $750 0.85M Open Jumper Classic.

Lots of red and blue ribbons for team Sperabo this week! Huge congratulations to the whole team!

Team Sperabo was shaking off the rust at Thunderbird last week!

Justine and BP Mystic came home with a Reserve Champion in the 1.10M Open Jumper! They also received a 1st in the 1.15M Open Jumper.

Costa De Will Z made all his people proud with a 1st in the 2’6” Open Hunter with Justine onboard, and a 3rd and two 4ths in the 2’6” Jr/Am Hunter with Laura in the irons.

Justine and Blue Bellini entered the show ring for the first time at this show and came out with a 4th in the 0.65M Open Jumper Optimum Time and a 6th in the 0.75M Open Jumpers.

Our brother and sister duo of Chaberton and Dream On (both born and bred at PointView!) had a great first show for this season! Dream On and Anita came home with a 3rd in the 2’3” Jr/Am Hunter. Justine and Dream On received a 4th in the 2’3” Open Hunter. Chaberton and Anita came home with two 1st and three 3rds in the 2’6” Jr/Am Hunters!

Got to practice competing in all weather conditions! Lots of fun for Team Sperabo!

Congratulations to Nicola and Costa De Will Z on Reserve Champion in the Modified Adult Hunter 2’9”! They also got 1st in the $300 Modified Adult Hunter 2’9” Classic with a score of 85! What a great way to close out their first show season together!

Justine and Costa De Will Z were Champion in Pre Green Hunter 3’0” - 3’3” (Combined).

Justine and BP Mystic had a great end to their first show season with an 8th in the $500 1.20M Open Jumper!

Jenni and Bobbi ended their show season with a 4th in the very competitive Show Park Hunter 2’9” class.

And after her many hours managing the back gate and keeping Nicky inline Potatoe is very excited the BC show season has come to an end so she can rest and relax until next summer.
