It's been a long time coming, I finally finished part one of the musical catechism project I've been working on for the past few years. It goes live on all major streaming platforms on September 1.

Most of the past couple of years were spent at the very bottom of the learning curve, figuring out how to use Logic Pro X, how to edit, how to record, how to make (somewhat) realistic sounding music with a computer and a keyboard.

A big portion of the time was spent researching and reading different children's catechisms, looking for one that was simple and yet thorough, and doctrinally sound.

I hope this project blesses you as much as making it has blessed me. I'm sure my kids will appreciate not hearing the same songs over and over again as I tweaked them and made probably imperceptible changes, but my hope and prayer is that the truths they heard so many times, as this was recorded and edited, will stick with them into adulthood, and then into eternity. (Wait until they find out that I still have five more parts to compose and record!)

I'm not a sound engineer or a producer so there was just a whole lot to learn. I expect the output to speed up as I get better at the technical parts and can focus more on making music.
