Comox Valley Market Snapshot: July 2026 - Engel & Völkers - Jeff Nield Managing Broker Vancouver Island 07/11/2026

Here's a June number that made me look twice: 22 townhouses came on the market in the Comox Valley last month, and 28 sold. Buyers absorbed inventory faster than new listings arrived.

The rest of the June data tells a calmer story. The benchmark detached home sits at $864,500, about one per cent below last year, and homes are selling at 98 per cent of asking in around six weeks. If you own a townhouse or condo in Courtenay, Comox, or Cumberland, this is the strongest your market has been in years.
