On June 1st, 2005, I made a life decision, a decision I have never looked back from. I opened Creative Corner and today it turns 19! Thank you to alll who have made this journey an amazing and crazy one.

OUT MORNING ADVENTURE

As you may have heard, “the federal government announced Sept. 30 as a new annual statutory day to commemorate the history and ongoing trauma caused by residential schools and to honour those who were lost and the survivors, families and communities who continue to grieve.”
We will honor this day and show our support by closing for this statutory holiday.

With the order of new provincial restrictions, masks will now be mandatory for all adults entering Creative Corner, for drop off and pick up.

Today I say good-bye to an amazing little girl and her family. I have watched Hannah grow into an amazing little person and it is with a heavy heart that I say good-bye. I give her back pounds heavier, inches taller, months wiser, more responsible and more mature than she was. Although she would have attained her growth in spite of me, it has been my pleasure and privilege to watch her personality unfold day by day and marvel at this splendid miracle of development. I give her back reluctantly, for having spent this time together in the narrow confines of my house, we have grown close, have become a part of each other, and we shall always retain a little of each other. We have lived, loved, laughed, played, studied, learned and enriched our lives together. I wish it could go on indefinitely, but give her back I must. Take care of her for she is precious.
