Good morning,
It's with mixed emotions that I stand before you today. On one hand, I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we've shared together. On the other, there's a tinge of sadness as we bid farewell to a chapter that has been so dear to my heart.
When I opened Dreamland 40 years ago, my dream became a reality. I could never have imagined the joy it would bring me. From the laughter shared with customers to the bonds formed with my dedicated family, every moment has been a treasure.
But as they say, all good things must come to an end. After much reflection and soul-searching, I've made the decision to retire and close the doors of this beloved establishment. While it wasn't an easy choice, I know it's the right one for me at this time.
As I look back on the years we've spent together, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude. Gratitude for the loyal customers who have supported us through thick and thin. Gratitude for the talented Sales reps who have been like family, designers who have filled our racks with beauty and style. And most of all, gratitude for the amazing team who has stood by my side, pouring their hearts into making this store a success.
To my family and staff, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your dedication, passion, and creativity have been the driving force to push forward. I am endlessly grateful for each and every one of you.
To our customers, I want to express my deepest appreciation. Your support has been the lifeblood of this business, and I am humbled by your loyalty. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or just discovered us recently, please know that you have made a lasting impact on my life, and I will cherish the memories we've created together.
While it's bittersweet to say goodbye, I am excited for the new adventures that lie ahead. Retirement may mark the end of one chapter, but it also signals the beginning of a new one. I look forward to spending more time with my loved ones, pursuing personal passions, and embracing all the joys that life has to offer.
So, as we close this chapter and say farewell to Dreamland, let's not dwell on goodbyes. Instead, let's celebrate the memories we've made, the friendships we've forged, and the legacy we leave behind. Thank you all for being a part of this incredible journey. It's been an honor and a privilege to serve you.
