Position: Property Maintenance Team Member

Job Duties:

- Spring and Fall Property Clean-Ups
- Parking Lot Power Sweeping and Line Painting
- Maintaining Customer Properties
- Lawn Maintenance
- Upkeep of Flower and Shurb Gardens
- Snow Plowing (Refer to Separate Facebook Job Post for details)
- Additional Tasks as required
- Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe, responsible and efficient manner following all recommended operating procedures
- Be available for communication at all times during a shift and before/after shifts
- Accurately document site service records for each and every site including times, services performed, weather conditions etc.
- Submit paperwork and documentation promptly at the end of each shift
- Document and report any obstacles at site(s)
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment as required
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
- Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Prepare and show up for shifts free from the influence of any drugs, alcohol, or medicines that have an effect on safe and productive equipment operation

Requirements:

- Valid drivers’ license
- Safe driving record – able to submit a driver’s abstract (infractions history) upon request
- Experience operating equipment
- Documentation knowledge of: driver logbook; pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintenance and repair reports; and trip reports
- Physically fit with strong stamina
- Ability to follow safe working procedures
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret maps
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

Work Conditions:

- Various locations including both commercial and industrial sites
- Extremely flexible working hours, including nights, weekend, and holidays
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work safely near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including cold, loud and wet conditions
