Paddle Canada Level 2 Sea Kayak Training

This summer August 19th to August 26th come join George McFarlin, Philippe Pipo Damiano and Doug Childress for a fun filled 7 days of sea kayak training in the beautiful waters around Quadra and Read Islands.

This is wilderness camping combined with a full 7 days of sea kayaking skills taught by 3 Paddle Canada instructors. The last couple of days of this course we will be camping close to Surge Narrows to complete the Level 2 training in dynamic waters.

During this course you will improve your strokes and rescues, plus learn some new rescues, learn how to navigate the BC Coast using only a marine chart and a compass, and practice leading a group of your peers into new areas on BC's coast.

Course requirement are a Paddle Canada L1 certification or equivalent, a kayak with deck lines, and immersion gear preferably a dry suit.
