It is with great sadness that I have to announce that Uncle Francis Trace passed away this week. My sister was at his side and he went very peacefully. Francis was my dad’s older brother. He had enjoyed his last six months living in Aspira Britannia extended care, surrounded by his photos and large screen TV. Although he was a quiet man and didn't want to participate in many activities there, he did enjoy the company that came to visit. The nurses called him The Man of Few Words. And that describes him so well. And just like my dad, when asked how he was doing he would answer "Terrible" with a slight grin.
We haven’t decided whether to have a memorial before Christmas or to wait until spring. I’ll keep you updated as planning continues. Please let other friends and family know.
