GRPF looks after the Visitor Information Centre at Glenbow Ranch. Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park protects 3,246 acres, most of which are Foothills Fescue Grasslands. This is one of the province’s most modified and fragmented, and least protected ecosystems.

From birds soaring overhead to small mammals exploring the grasslands, Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife waiting to be discovered.

Every visit offers the chance to observe something different, reminding us of the rich biodiversity that makes the park such a unique place to explore. Taking the time to slow down and observe these moments helps us better appreciate the important role wildlife plays in the park's ecosystems.

Open Spaces☀️

One of the things that makes Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park so unique is the sense of openness found throughout the landscape.

Rolling hills, expansive skies, and sweeping valley views create an ever-changing backdrop that invites visitors to slow down and take it all in. No matter the season, these wide-open spaces offer a reminder of the beauty and scale of Alberta's natural landscapes.

One of the best parts of Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park is seeing the landscape through the eyes of those who visit.
