⏱️After a bit of a hiatus, we are excited to continue showing off some of our favourite projects around Cultus Lake, BC.

For the fifth post in our series, we are changing it up and stepping away from custom houses temporarily to show off some well executed timber boardwalks. As anyone who has been to Cultus Lake in the summer knows, Columbia Valley hwy gets really busy and full. The addition of these boardwalks were very much needed.

🪏So, back in 2022 the FVRD engaged Quantum Engineering to perform the structural engineering design for the elevated walkways of the boardwalk. The design consisted of a mix of galvanized steel and pressure treated Spruce/Pine/Fir framing and decking.🪵

🏆We think the final product turned out great, and are happy to be part of the solution to providing a safer walking path along the Columbia Valley Hwy.
