At times, people enter our lives who show the love and affirmation we didn't know we needed. I consider myself fortunate to have numerous such individuals in my life. I invested considerable effort into crafting this vessel. Although it may not be flawless, it possesses a unique perfection in its imperfections. This nuno felted vessel showcases a combination of wet felting techniques and the incorporation of diverse fabrics and fibers, including wool, banana silk, repurposed silk, cotton, and flannel, each holding significant meaning. The dragonfly ornament is a result of wet and needle felting using wool and banana silk. The dragonfly's wings are crafted from ice dubbing and a ziplock bag that I fused together, featuring an armature that allows for adjustability. The antennae were carefully fashioned by twisting coordinating wires around a toothpick to make curls. I hope that my friend will treasure this piece and understand the depth of gratitude I feel towards her.💜💜💜
