I’m deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my friend and former colleague, the Honourable Kirsty Duncan. Kirsty’s passion, brilliance, and tireless dedication to public service left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to work alongside her.
As both a scientist and parliamentarian, she inspired countless Canadians through her integrity, compassion, and unwavering pursuit of excellence. Her commitment to advancing science, equity, and the well being of others will continue to guide and inspire future generations.
My heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, and all who mourn this tremendous loss. Canada has lost a remarkable leader and I will miss her deeply.
