Currently working on this custom shower niche using large-format terrazzo tiles. It’s a tedious process that requires absolute precision, especially since we are doing custom 45-degree mitered edges for all the outer corners.
No cheap plastic trims or profiles here — just a clean, seamless tile-to-tile finish. It takes more time and skill, but the high-end, monolithic look is entirely worth it.
And as always, we are building it on a bulletproof foundation using the Schluter-Kerdi waterproofing system to ensure it lasts a lifetime.
