Looking for hands-on experience in arts marketing?

We’re hiring a Marketing Assistant to join The GRAND. The role supports the development and ex*****on of digital marketing, content creation, campaigns, and day-to-day communications for one of Western Canada’s oldest theatres.

If you’re detail-oriented, creative, and interested in how storytelling connects audiences to live performance, this is a strong entry point into arts marketing and cultural communications.
What you’ll do:
• Support marketing campaigns and digital content across platforms
• Assist with scheduling, publishing, and updating communications
• Conduct research and help track audience and market trends
• Support creation of marketing materials and promotional content
• Assist with reporting, analytics, and campaign performance tracking
• Collaborate with the Events + Marketing team on day-to-day needs

Details:
• 30 hrs/week (9-week contract)
• $21/hour
• Hybrid work environment

What we’re looking for:
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Clear communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Comfortable working in digital platforms (Google Suite, MS Office)
• Interest in arts, culture, and community storytelling
