📚✨ Calling all Bookstagrammers

Applications for the 2026 Wordfest Bookstagrammer-in-Residence program are officially open.

Each year, our Bookstagrammers-in-Residence experience the Imaginairium Festival from the inside - attending festival events, connecting with fellow readers, and creating content that helps share the joy of books with communities across Alberta. If you love stories, live literary events, and creating content that sparks conversation, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re not looking for perfect feeds, massive followings, Wordfest experts, or people who’ve read every author on the lineup. We’re looking for creators with:
✨ An engaged Alberta-based audience
✨ A passion for books and literary community
✨ An interest in connecting and collaborating with Wordfest 

BIR’s receive Festival Passes to take in as much as they can, exclusive invitations to festival events, festival swag, and other goodies. 

📅 Imaginairium: October 13–18, 2026
📝 Applications close: July 30, 2026
