On Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at approx. 9:07am, our dear Russell crossed the rainbow bridge.

Russell, we will truly miss you and your incredible personality… your different styles of squeaks depending on the occasion, carrying your favourite mice toys around, playing with your brother, Dusty, your love of outside, endless naps in the sun, always being the best host when people came over, being a peacekeeper and mostly importantly, the amount of love and laughter you brought to our lives.

To our little bear, our big bear, our squeakers, our cat man, our sturdy boy, our thirsty boy, our treasure, our squeaks, our squeaky boy, our buddy, our stinky boy, our thicc boy, and now our special angel,

We’ll remember and love you forever.

Russell has insulin daily now. We had a few scary trips to the vet, but now we can test his blood sugar from home. He's getting more active each day. He is a brave boy when it comes to his blood tests and injections and quickly forgives me and is purring away. His coat became dull coloured, which is common with diabetic cats. It should come back to its normal colours after a while of is blood sugar being back in check. 😼
