St. Barnabas Anglican Church - Calgary

We are inviting to all and welcome you to join us. Barnabas Anglican Church offers two services of worship on Sunday morning. There is a quiet traditional service at 8:30 AM and a a family service (including Sunday school and choir) at 10:15 AM. On Wednesdays, there is a simple Eucharist service at noon. We are part of the Diocese of Calgary, and the Anglican Church of Canada.

We will celebrate our patronal feast day on Sunday, June 7, so please join us! There will be a confirmation, so the bishop will be in attendance and we will have a potluck lunch. Services are at 8:30 AM and 10:15 AM. See you in church!
St. Barnabas is located at 1407 7 Ave NW, Calgary next to Riley Park; we are wheelchair accessible.

The Ascension of the Lord is one of the seven principal feast days of the church and takes place today, 40 days after Jesus's resurrection. Because it is always on a Thursday, we typically celebrate it on the Sunday following. This year, Ascension Sunday is May 17.
Go and make disciples of all nations, says the Lord; I am with you always, to the close of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)
