Well, did you know that one tree can lose between 200,000 and 500,000 leaves per season?
Let's say that your tree had a good year and most of those leaves fell onto your roof and into your eaves. They lay there all winter soaking up the snow and rain.
Based on common leaf weight metrics, 300,000 wet old leaves would weigh 450 to 1500 kg! Yikes! That's about how much a Fiat 500 weighs! 🫣😱

Now, probably the winds were in your favour and a lot of those leaves blew onto the ground or onto your neighbours roof (sorry, neighbour 😓) so there isn't much risk of your roof collapsing, but, take it from me- don't underestimate your tree! 😄
