Sincerely Yours contacted me with an invitation to participate in a truly meaningful project, and it immediately felt like an ideal alignment.
There has always been something uniquely special about receiving a handwritten letter.
In a world that moves at such a rapid pace, a letter offers an opportunity to slow down, appreciate a story, and reconnect with life’s simple pleasures. For this reason, I am delighted to be partnering with Sincerely Yours and their thoughtfully curated flower-inspired letter experiences.
As many of you know, my passion for herbal medicine began with a deep appreciation for plants. Whether it is a wild medicinal herb growing along a trail, a flower blooming in my garden, or a carefully crafted tea blend, I have always been fascinated by the stories that plants can tell.
What I value most about this partnership is its encouragement to pause and observe the world around us—the flowers, the changing seasons, and the subtle details in nature that can so easily be overlooked amidst the demands of daily life. Together, the letters and teas provide an opportunity to slow down, cultivate presence, and reconnect with the beauty that surrounds us each day.
As part of this collaboration, I will be creating custom herbal tea blends inspired by the themes, moods, and flowers featured throughout the letter series. Each blend is thoughtfully crafted using organic herbs to support a meaningful ritual of reflection, connection, and mindfulness while engaging with the story.
To me, wellness extends beyond nutrition or supplementation. It is about creating moments that nourish and restore us—a cup of tea, a beautiful flower, a handwritten letter, or a few quiet moments away from the distractions of everyday life.
I look forward to sharing these blends with you and inviting you to join me on this journey, one letter and one cup of tea at a time. 🌿🌸✨.

🌿 Herb of the Week: Self Heal (Prunella vulgaris) 🌿
Despite its humble appearance, self heal has a long history of use in traditional herbal medicine as a supportive herb for wound healing, immune health, and inflammation.
Often growing wild along pathways and fields, this resilient little plant has been used for centuries as a “vulnerary” herb — meaning an herb traditionally used to support the body’s natural healing process.
✨ Traditionally used for:• Minor wounds & skin irritation• Sore throats and mouth irritation• Immune support• Cooling excess heat and inflammation
Self heal is considered cooling and drying in herbal energetics, making it a beautiful herb when things feel inflamed, irritated, or overheated.
🌱 Scientific interest:Self heal contains compounds including rosmarinic acid, tannins, and flavonoids, which have been studied for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Its tannin content also gives it gentle astringent qualities — one reason it has traditionally been used for skin, throat, and tissue support.

🌿 Herb of the Week: Mullein
Botanical Name: Verbascum thapsus
Part Used: Leaf & Flower
Mullein is a soft, grounding herb traditionally used to support the lungs, throat, and respiratory system. Known for its fuzzy silver-green leaves and tall yellow flower spikes, it has long been considered a protector of the breath.
🌱 Traditionally Used For:
• Dry or irritated coughs
• Lung congestion and mucus
• Sore throat and hoarseness
• Respiratory recovery after illness
Mullein is both soothing and gently expectorant — helping calm irritation while encouraging stagnant mucus to move out.
🔬 What Science Says:
Mullein contains mucilage, saponins, and flavonoids, compounds associated with soothing irritated tissues, supporting mucus clearance, and reducing inflammation. Research suggests it may have mild antimicrobial and respiratory-supportive effects.

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately—just deep in prep mode getting ready for market.
Been making teas, tinctures, and all the herbal bits and pieces that take a lot of time behind the scenes, but are so worth it when everything comes together.
It’s been one of those “heads down, hands busy” kind of stretches. I’m excited to be back out there soon and sharing it all with you in person.
