The better question is:
“What does my audience need to know in order to trust me, buy from me or refer me?”

Think about the last piece of content you actually stopped to read.
Was it an advertisement? Probably not.
More often than not, the content that sticks is the content that teaches us something, solves a problem or makes us think differently.
That’s why the best marketing rarely feels like marketing. It feels HELPFUL.
It answers questions. It offers insight. It creates value before asking for anything in return.
The businesses that consistently earn attention aren’t always the loudest.
They’re the ones giving people a reason to come back.

Everyone wants more leads.
But sometimes that’s not actually the problem.
We’ve worked with businesses that thought they needed more marketing when the real issue was buried somewhere else entirely.
An unclear message.
A weak sales process.
A website that wasn’t converting.
Slow follow-up.
Marketing is important, but it can’t fix every problem on its own.
The businesses that grow the fastest are usually the ones willing to step back and look at the entire customer journey.

MYTH BUSTER #1: More Followers = More Business 🚫
One of the biggest marketing myths we hear is that more followers automatically means more sales.
But think about it this way…
You can drive past a bus bench every day and remember the ad. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’re buying from that business.
The same goes for social media.
A growing follower count can be a positive sign that your content is resonating, but followers alone don’t pay the bills. What matters is attracting the right people, building trust and creating content that moves people to take action.
The goal isn’t simply to be seen.
The goal is to be remembered, trusted and chosen.
At the end of the day, we’d rather help a business generate 10 qualified leads than gain 1,000 followers who never become customers.

Had a great conversation with a client today and it turned into one of those reminders that marketing isn’t always about throwing money at random tactics just to “be seen.”
He told me he’d already committed his summer budget to bus bench advertising.
And honestly? That’s not necessarily bad.
None of it is bad.
The real question is:
Is the strategy actually aligned with the result you want?
Because visibility alone doesn’t always create connection, trust or conversions.
Sometimes small shifts in strategy can create a much bigger impact without completely reinventing what you’re already doing.
Marketing should never feel like guessing.
