A country singing sensation assuming an alias Becky Barnes finds true romance while rehearsing for a Stampede performance at several studios. On a break she bumps into a local cowpoke at Heritage Park. She reminds him of a former flame inspiring her and building her confidence while trail riding. At a stay at the haunted Prince of Wales hotel a 'ghostwriter' inspires a haunting melody for her next album. The band is in a pickle unable to reach her as she performs at several Calgary venues throughout the week. The cowpoke is clueless, oblivous to who she is. Can she maintain her secret? Mission impossible? Becky disappears into the crowd at the grand final and appears onstage as Kelly. After the show he convinces her to stay. In the vein of Mistletoe Secret and She's Out of My League.
